L.U.S.T. and pOETiq pick up where they left off after blessings us with previous projects such as L.U.S.T.’s 2009 album “The Ms. Ceily Complex” and 2011 mixtape “God, Fear & Money”, both predominantly produced by pOETiq. On this song not only does pOETiq compose the smooth and soulful track, he re-introduces himself as an MC proclaiming on the hook “We them MC’s, no ghost for the writer”. L.U.S.T. sets the tone on the first verse with as she describes in the intro, “bars is beasty”. This song is definitely the perfect mix of Hip Hop Soul and street influence.
